Business Services

Fiscal & Business Services provides comprehensive financial services to Merced College students, staff and faculty. These services include student fees; accounting; cashiering; invoicing and collections; payroll; payments and reimbursements; student fee refunds, financial aid disbursement  cash management;  financial reporting; procurement and contracts; campus bookstores; asset management and oversight of the budgeting process. The Fiscal Services staff is responsible for ensuring that all accounting, reporting and reconciliation functions are performed in accordance with applicable law and policy while at the same time providing the highest possible level of service to the campus.

Annual Budgets

On or before the 15th of September, the governing board shall adopt a final budget.  The process to get to that point involves the entire college community through the shared governance process.  The master planning committees have provided their input into the development of the proposed Final Budget which is ultimately approved by the Merced college Board of Trustees.  This page provides some of the reports provided to and approved by the Board of Trustees.
