Web Accessibility Information

Merced College is committed to making our web content accessible to people with disabilities. We are taking the following steps to make our site more accessible:

1. Text-Based View
   A text only version of our site is now available thanks to the High Tech Center Training Unit of the California Community Colleges. View our Text-Based Site.
2. Skip Navigation Feature
   This website has a skip navigation feature built into the upper level pages of the sites hierarchy. It is designed to allow users accessing our site without a mouse (using the Tab Key) to bypass the global navigation appearing on the top of each page.
3. Accessibility Monitoring
   Our Web Accessibility Specialist continually monitors our site for inaccessible pages and checks suspected problem pages by running them through a Jaws screen reader.
