The drama department
offers a well-rounded program of courses that fulfill most lower-division
requirements of four-year colleges and universities. MC drama students
have transferred successfully to the University of California system,
the California State University system, and private colleges.
The Associate
of Arts degree also prepares students for pre-professional and community
theatre. Many Merced College drama graduates are working professionally
in film, theatre, and education.
