     Workforce & Community Education provides opportunities for education, enrichment, and adventure. These programs are located at our Business Resource Center in downtown Merced.

  • Honors Program

    The Merced College Honors Program is designed to provide an enriched educational environment to inspire and enable students to achieve their maximum potential.

  • Credit for Prior Learning

    Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) is a strategy to help students get credit for what they already know and can do, saving them time and money on their educational path.

  • Rising Scholars

    We strive to eliminate barriers for students who have experienced the criminal justice system and are dedicated to opening opportunity and academic achievement for those who have been system impacted.

  • Work Experience Education

    If you work, volunteer, or are self-employed, you can earn up to 16 units of elective transfer credit while attending Merced College.
