Division
The Humanities Division
is home to the Communication Studies, English, Foreign Language, Humanities,
Journalism, Liberal Studies, and Philosophy Departments. We offer
various courses in each area ranging from introductory to specialized.

Area
of Study
Humanities is the study
of cultural manifestations in all its varieties, such as literature, philosophy,
foreign language, and the fine arts. It is the study of intellectual,
cultural, and aesthetic development through history with an integration of
multi-cultural influences. A humanities major prepares a student for employment
in many diverse fields, including education and research, law, international
business, government, and the creative arts.
