The Science, Math and Engineering Area offers a wide variety of courses. We offer coursework for the first two years of many science, math or engineering majors. We also offer a specialized program: Biotechnology. This program prepares students to enter the workforce after a minimum of two years of college study. The Area also offers a variety of courses that support other majors on campus including: Allied Health majors, Ag majors and Liberal/University Studies majors; for a more detailed listing of the programs please see the respective departments.

The Area faculty are committed to helping students attain their educational goals; be it transfer to a four-year school, obtaining an associate’s degree or completing pre-requisites for another program. Our students have successfully transferred to all major universities within California.
