What's My Password?
Initially, new student passwords for logging in to the portal will be your six digit birth date, i.e., mmddyy You will be asked to change your password to a strong password the first time you log into the portal. Additionally you will be asked to set up several challenge questions so, in the future should you forget your password, you will be able to recover or change it. (This will be handled by a self service password utility which will popup the first time you access the portal) This password will be your new password when entering the portal at mc4me.mccd.edu.

IMPORTANT: Staff and Faculty - The above password change will effect your network logon and the password used on any of your mobile devices and smart phones to access your staff email. If you are using a Merced College computer, you need to logoff and log back in with the new password. Update the password on your mobile device to sync your staff email. Also, remember to update your password when using DreamWeaver or an FTP program to access college web pages.
