Office of Institutional Advancement

The office of Institutional Advancement is composed of:

• Alumni Affairs
• The Merced College Foundation
• Public Affairs

These three programs work hand-in-hand to secure increased public and private support for the college.

Purpose

The Office of Institutional Advancement strives to be a comprehensive, full-service operation supporting Merced College through a variety of public relations, community outreach, and fund-raising activities. Institutional Advancement encompasses a range of programs and services that enable the college to develop a positive public image, build lasting and beneficial relationships with all college constituencies, and raise private, financial support.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of Institutional Advancement is to enhance the image of Merced College through a meaningful public relations and marketing program, to build relationships between college and community, and to advance the educational opportunities and services of Merced College by generating financial gifts from potential donors.
