Merced College Employees Earn Service Pins

The spirit of the season was in the air as Merced College recognized employees for their years of service on December 15. Thirty seven members of the classified staff, faculty, and management team were honored for service, with several marking 30 and 35 years of service to the College. In addition, the College honored several individuals who are retiring at the end of the fall semester. The retirees are Jim Autrand, Leslie Bonner, and Carolyn Ruck.

Recognized for five years of service are Caren Col-Hamm, Eugen Constantinescu, Caroline Dawson, Paula Freston, Susan Kimoto, Steve Meidinger, Ralph Morris, Trish Schade, Rox Ann Sparks, and Michelle Stanford.

Serving 10 years with the College are Jim Andersen and Robin Shepard.

Awards for 15 years of service went to Carl Estrella, Harry Gossett, Jill Mayer, Mark Nicoll-Johnson, Vince Piro, Sharon Reinhardt, Bob Taniguchi, and Steve Wiebe.

Award for 20 years of service were given to Don Curtaz, Anne Newins, and Susan Walsh. Earning 25 year pins were Art Cardoza, Sergio Flores, Bob Lenz, Stan Mattoon, Judy Rose, and Karyn Weins.

In addition, the College honored Bev DiSalvo, Darlene Ford, Richard Lozano, and Floyd Wilkins for 30 years of service, and Tom McCall, Jay Mayhue, and Brian Runner for 35 years of service.
