Business Forum holds third seminar:
"Winning Strategies for Grant Seeking and Grant Writing"

The third seminar in the 2007 Business Forum at Merced College will be
held on Saturday, April 14 in the College Theater. “Winning $trategies
For Grant $seeking and Grant Writing,” presented by internationally
known grant writing consultant Dr. Beverly Browning, author of “Grant
Writing for Dummies” will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m.
A continental breakfast will be served at 7:30 followed by a complimentary
lunch at noon.
Dr. Browning has been a grant writing consultant for units of municipal
government, school districts, colleges, social and human service agencies,
and other nonprofit organizations for two decades. She has assisted clients
throughout the United States in receiving awards of more than $100 million.
Dr. Browning is the author of a dozen grants-related publications, including
audio and video products, including “Fundraising with the Corporate
Letter,” “Grant Writing for Dummies,” “Grant Writing
for Educators,” “How to Become a Grant Writing Consultant”,
and “Faith-Based Grants: Aligning Your Church to Receive Abundance”.
Her newest grant book is “Winning Strategies for Developing Grant
Proposals.”
Dr. Browning holds a BA in organizational development, a Masters in Public
Administration and most was recently awarded an honorary Doctorate of
Business Administration for her grant-related publications. She is currently
an Online Campus facilitator for the University of Phoenix and a grant
writing course developer for Education To Go, as well as a member of the
Advisory Board for the University of Central Arkansas Community Development
Institute.
