In his eighth year at Merced College, Bob has one year under his belt as Merced College’s fifth head coach. He is the second former Blue Devil to raise to the position. Bob has thirteen years of coaching experience at the intercollegiate level that includes six at the four-year level. From 1998 to 2004 Bob was an Assistant Football Coach, Sports Information Director, Instructor and from 2000 to 2002 Head Track Coach at Huron University. Since his arrival back in Merced, Bob has coached football, and from 2004-08 was the Head Track and Field Coach. Bob also is an Adjunct Instructor in the Life Fitness Division.

A native Bayonne, New Jersey, Bob attended and played football at Merced College in 1994-95, before transferring onto Westmar University in 1996-97. Bob has a B.S. Degree in Sports Management & Physical Education from Huron University. He received his MBA from Colorado Technical University.

Bob is married to current Blue Devil Volleyball coach Jessica Casey and they have a son named Brennan and they live in Merced.
