The Career/Transfer Center would be delighted to speak to your class about the services that we offer. The presentation that we give includes describing the services that our center offers to students researching careers, majors and colleges. We also inform them about the services that are available to students transferring to a 4-year university. Our center also offers information about scholarships that are in addition to the ones that are made available through the Merced College Foundation. Our presentation will conclude with a comparison of two different careers, one requiring an Associates Degree and the other requiring a Bachelors Degree. The comparison will cover salary schedules, the growth and outlook forecasts for the industry and the types of jobs available in that field. We encourage students to consider the benefits of continuing their education for two more years. We encourage students to come take advantage of the services that we provide, as it will only enhance their ability to succeed in their education.
