OCS Email Error See and hear Video Instructions, otherwise read transcript below.
Problem: You are using Internet Explorer 8 and when you access your emails there is nothing in the body of the message. You only see the Subject.
Probable Explanation: The security on IE8 may not allow certain Active X controls, and Java Script applets.
Solution 1: Run IE8 in Compatibility mode (so that it behaves as IE7) Excerpt from MSDN: http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2008/08/27/introducing-compatibility-view.aspx
1. Go to the login page of MyMCCD, http://my.mccd.edu/ . 2. Tell IE to run in compatibility mode (see image 1), so that it behaves as IE7. This will add mccd.edu to the compatibility view list (see image 2) 3. Then log in. You should be able to see your emails.

Solution 2: Download and use www.firefox.com
Solution 3: Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) was publically released for download in January 2009. Manufacturers started shipping the product (IE8) in March 2009. Thus, the problem started to occur then. Nevertheless, we will provide you, in the near future, with en elegant and easy to use solution, as soon as our engineers make it available for public consumption. Thank you for your patience.
