Dear Friends, My name is Milana and I am the pianist of a classical group called Manhattan Piano Trio. The group also comprises Dmitry on Violin and Dmitry on Cello. Yes!! Two Dmitrys. It can’t get any easier than that. All three of us are recent Juilliard graduates and with much humility I say that our group is now considered one of the most prominent and active emerging chamber music groups in America. Sadly, audience for classical music has been shrinking. So for the past four years, we have made it our purpose to reach out to a newer and younger audience. Even if you don’t follow chamber music, I hope you will give us a chance to change your mind on Saturday, October 11 when we perform at your College. Our program will have lots of variety featuring works by many composers. I promise that you are bound to like at least one composer whose music will resonate with you. And if after our concert you still feel that our music did not do anything for you, at least you can say “I TRIED” Please also say Hello to us after the concert, as we would love to meet you... And if you’ve got complimentary tickets for Super Bowl-2009, let us know!!! Milana from Manhattan Piano Trio
