May is “Recycle for Sight” Month

How you can help: 

Donate prescription or nonprescription glasses or sunglasses.

Children’s glasses are especially needed. 
Both plastic and metal frames are accepted. 

When:  May 7 – May 21

Where:  Collection boxes are located in the Library, Study Central, Tutorial Center, Humanities, & Science

Fact:  In 2001-02, the Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centers reported a collection of nearly 6 million pairs of eyeglasses, distributing to more than 3 million people in developing nations.
