NOTE:
We
would like to encourage all staff to participate in Homecoming Week
by dressing-up or joining in on the games, and donation drives.
Dress-up Days participants must sign-in with the Student Activities
Office twice every day, once in the morning and in the afternoon for
points! Staff may designate their points to their favorite team.
SIGN-IN BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 A.M. AND 4:00 P.M. (ONLY).

School Pride Day & Face Painting:
Dress up in Blue,
gold and white, all participants must have their faces painted.
Dodge Ball Competition:
Candidate Team
members will receive points for participating. The winning team
will receive bonus points for the competition.

Pie Eating Competition:
One participating
member will participate from each team; this will be a timed
activity.

Fun Activity, NO points issued.

Can
Food Drive:
Student
Activities will only accept canned goods up to 4:00 p.m., on
Wednesday. Staff participation is strongly encouraged; donate your
points to your favorite team. Bring your current Merced College
ID Card!

Food: Corn, yams, green beans, turkey gravy or packaged gravy,
chill beans, soups, etc. Turkey Gift Certificates (18-20 lbs
turkeys) or Ham Gift Certificates (15 lbs ham)
Barbeque in the Quad:
The ASMC
BBQ will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, for all students
and staff holding an ASMC/Staff sticker. JOIN US!

Presentation of Homecoming Candidates:
Dr. Ben Duran
will introduce candidates on Thursday, October 11, 2007, at 12:00
noon, in the College Cafeteria. All candidates must arrive in the
cafeteria by 11:30 a.m. to check in.
Tricycle Race:
This will be a
timed activity; points will be awarded to the teams.

Wheelchair Race:
No points
for this
activity; this will be a timed event. WIN A PRIZE!

Toy Drive:
NEW TOYS ONLY!
(Ages 18 months – 5 years old) Student Activities will only accept
toys up to 4:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 11, 2007. Donate your
points to your favorite team.
Aluminum Can & Recyclables Drive:
Each club must
collect aluminum cans and recyclables items, and take them to a near
by recycle center. Club members must collect the money raised and
deposit funds into the Project Christmas account, with the Student
Fees Office. The Student Fees office will track the dollar amounts
and advise Students Activities at the end of the week of the amount
of money collected per team. Staff may support their team by
donating funds to their team of choice.
