Have you completed at least 12 units of college course work with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher? Or are you an incoming freshman with a high school GPA of 3.5 or higher?

If so, you are eligible to join Alpha Gamma Sigma, the California Community Honor Society.

The purpose of AGS is to foster, promote, maintain, and recognize academic excellence and community service.  The Merced College chapter of AGS offers many member benefits, including scholarships, special recognition upon graduation, and an opportunity to work on various community service projects with a group of like-minded students.

Our first meeting is Monday, Sept. 14th at 5:00 pm in the IAC Humanities Conference Room.  Please join us!
