Siege Weapon!

Practice field (next to the Tri-College Center)
Rules and
Regulations: You will need to construct a full-scale siege weapon,
a trebuchet or a catapult, capable of launching a basketball.
®NO
elastic, springs, chemical reactions or electricity are allowed.
®Only
tension and counterweights are to be used.
®If
you build a machine and launch the ball, you earn an A.
A competition will be held for
accuracy and distance.
Can be done in
groups of less than 4.
