How do I open Microsoft® PowerPoint presentations if I have a MAC and I do not have Microsoft Office? Two steps: Download PowerPoint Viewer and Download and use Firefox to view it. It is free!
We will be assuming you have already downloaded and installed both programs. Click on Firefox and login to blackboard and go to the page where the PowerPoint presentation is at.
Click on the link and wait for the prompt. Click on choose...
Navigate to where you have PowerPoint or the Viewer
Make sure you select Microsoft PowerPoint or PowerPoint Viewer and check the box that says to do it automatically from now on.
Voila, the presentation is now open.
