Register for Courses online

  • First of all, you need to access WebAdvisor SSL

  • After you have logged in to WebAdvisor, click on Register for Sections
    (Most usernames are in firstname
.lastname format. The initial password is the birth date in MMDDYY format. If you still cannot login, click here)

  • Click on Express Registration

  • This is a Search Engine. Type the Section Number in the Synonym field, and select the appropriate Term in the drop down box (this is the fast way of doing it)

  • Click Submit

  • You will see another page. You have not register yet. Continue the registration process. In the Action box choose RG -Register and click Submit

  • Your class has now been added. Congratulations!

If you get an error message saying:  "You are not authorized to access the requested process" after registering, please ignore it. Go to your Schedule of Classes and verify that the course you registered for is there. It should be. This is a bug. We apologize. We are trying to fix it.

  • What do I do if I get the following error message?
“The student has not reached their appointment time yet – check STMC (10)”,

You need to go to Admissions & Records.  This message means that your Priority Registration Date is not up yet.
ALSO, if you are trying to register for Labs (example: section 5000) and you get this message, and registration season is open; it means you need to wait until your registration date shows up (sorry...!).

There is a Bug in WebAdvisor when trying to register for courses online. Students will get the following error message when choosing the Action to Register on the registration procedure:  "You are not authorized to access the requested process" Please ignore it. In order to confirm that you successfully registered, please go to your Schedule of Classes and verify that the course you registered for is there. This is a bug. We apologize. We are trying to fix it.

If you get other error messages, contact the STUDENT HELP DESK at myhelp@mccd.edu
