Where can I buy tickets?
The Merced College Box Office, located in front of the
Merced College Theater, is open for ticket sales one
hour prior to scheduled performances. Call 384-6224 for
questions about Box Office hours or ticket information.
Merced ticket outlets include the Merced College
Community Services Office, Aloha Floral at the Merced
Mall, Applewood Gifts on 18th St., and Aloha Floral in
Atwater.
Where are classes held and where do I park?
Unless otherwise stated, classes are held on the Merced
College Main Campus at 3600 M Street in Merced.
Parking Permits are
required at any hour, Monday through Thursday, and
until 2 pm on Friday. Permits are available on a daily
basis for $1 or you can purchase a semester pass in the
Student Union Building for $20. On Friday evenings and
on the weekends, parking on the Merced College main
campus is FREE and no permit is required.
Can I register on the first day of class?
Some classes do not let you register on the same day.
Please call the office at (209) 384-6224 to make sure
you can still register on the same day or as a
walk-in. Most classes will allow walk-in registration if
space is available. We encourage you to register early
as many classes fill prior to the class date. Classes
with low enrollment may be canceled prior to the first
day of class.
What about holidays? The Community
Services Office is closed during any public holiday and
most classes do not meet. However, some special holiday
camps and other classes will meet on special dates. Call
the office for more information.
To whom do I pay
the material and/or lab fee? Pay material fees
in cash or check directly to the instructor at class,
unless otherwise noted.
What if I can't
attend a class for which I am registered?
If you cannot
attend a class, you must adhere to our
refund policy.
What happens to my personal
information? Merced College's Community
Services department is committed to protecting your
privacy on-line. We do not sell, trade, or rent your
personal information to others. We may use the
information collected to contact you regarding course
information, promotional updates, specials, new
additions to the website or your on-line experience.
Also, we do not store your credit card number on our
website.
I can’t find the course I’m
looking for. What should I do?
First, check other class terms—some terms
overlap. If you don’t see it listed, the course may be
offered only one time a year. Contact us at
communitysvc@mccd.edu
and
we can let you know the status of the topic that
interests you.
Why are Community
Services courses priced differently from other college
classes?
These courses are self-supporting and do not
receive state tax dollar funding.
