NOTE: Due to administrative costs, Community Services will no longer be accepting deposits for trips. Full payment is due at time of reservation to secure your ticket(s).  We are committed to providing trips/excursions for the Merced community, so thank you for your cooperation!


 


Elephant Seals, Ano Nuevo
More than 2,000 seals have established a mainland rookery at Ano Nuevo State Reserve.  The tour includes a three mile walk round trip on sandy, uneven terrain at a relatively slow pace.  You will have time to enjoy a no-host lunch and shopping at the Wharf in Santa Cruz.

San Francisco Flower & Garden Show
Thousands of flowers and plants with beautiful colors, fragrances and textures. Four acres of flower gardens, gardening seminars, and shopping.

SF Giants Baseball
Park located right on the SF Bay with spectacular views.  We’ll arrive a couple hours before game time to find your seat, have lunch, watch batting practice, visit the gift shop, and try for autographs from Giants players.

Ironstone Winery and Concert
Visit the beautiful Ironstone winery and enjoy a private tour of the “Crown of the Sierra” and wine tasting at the ranch complex.  You’ll enjoy a luncheon buffet and a full two-hour concert featuring a wide variety of popular music, ballads, show tunes, and light classics.

North Beach Festival in San Francisco’s Little Italy

A street fair complete with entertainment, food, arts, and crafts, and a medieval piazza in June.  The festival is the oldest urban street fair in the country and reflects Italian culture and history.  Arts, crafts, food, and entertainment will keep you busy.

Yosemite National Park
Breathtaking scenery, extreme geological formations, and abundant flora and fauna provide the backdrop for this trip.  We’ll provide a guided tour and introduce some of Yosemite’s most famous seeing points.  You’ll enjoy a no-host lunch at one of the park’s many eateries and have the rest of the day to yourself.

Gilroy Garlic Festival
The Festival is a celebration of food, fun and family. The 32nd Annual “Ultimate Summer Food Fair”; a day of incredible food, arts and crafts, live entertainment, and cooking demonstrations.
