The Tutorial Center provides academic support to all Merced College students.  Our goal is to create an
open atmosphere of learning, with the purpose of encouraging dialogue among students in order to
share techniques for academic success.  We offer free one-on-one and group tutoring in most disciplines,
at all levels of proficiency.  Students must complete a tutoring referral form and be referred by a
counselor or instructor to receive tutoring. 

The Tutorial Center accomplishes its goals by providing trained tutors who are experienced with the academic coursework in the subjects they are tutoring.  These tutors are caring individuals who want to see others succeed by providing a supportive, judgment-free atmosphere where collaborative learning can take place. 

 

The Tutorial Center computers and printers are for school-related work only.  Print cards may be
purchased at the Bookstore or Student Fees at 50 copies for $1.00.  Located in the Communication
