The Merced College Online Program in Administration of Justice provides students with the opportunity to complete all degree and transfer requirements fully online. The short term courses allow students to continue in the workforce while fulfilling their educational goals.

Program Description

The Criminal Justice Program is multifaceted and serves the educational needs of both pre-service and law enforcement professionals as well as individuals interested in learning about the field. The program leads to an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and transfer (AS-T) to Baccalaureate degree programs. Upon completion of the transfer associate degree, the student is eligible for transfer with junior standing. Students will be given CSU priority consideration when applying to a particular program that is similar to the student’s community college area of emphasis.

Students will complete their programs 100% online with the same group of students, working to attain the same degree and building a sense of community and support along the way.

Students will develop advanced skills that will benefit them in the workforce, and will earn an Associate for Transfer (AS-T/AA-T), eligible to transfer into the CSU or UC system with junior status to complete their baccalaureate degree. 

From start to finish, students will have a dedicated support team to ensure ease of navigation of enrollment, financial aid, and assistance with academics and technology.

Students will receive full access to a variety of campus resources and services offered online and in-person to increase their success.

Students will receive an Apple iPad and keyboard to use while enrolled (while supplies last).

Tuition may be free for first-time, full-time students. Generous financial aid packages are available to those who qualify.
