Establishing Social Media for Your Department/Area
Merced College encourages the development and management of social media sites for College departments, programs, services, student clubs, etc. The policy governing the District’s electronic and digital communications is BP 3720—Acceptable Use and Social Media Policy. Administrative Procedure 3720 provides guidelines for establishing social media sites that represent Merced College.
- Review the Social Media Development Guidelines and Checklist document (pdf)
- Complete the digital checklist. Wait for approval from the Office of External Relations prior to posting to your channel.
- Once your social media site is approved, you will be notified and your link will be included below on the list of approved social media channels.
