More than 80 noncredit sections are offered each semester at over 20 sites throughout Merced County and the surrounding area. More than 2,000 students take advantage of noncredit classes to improve their quality of life in a variety of ways.

Noncredit vs. Not-for-Credit

The Adult Education & Noncredit Program Office offers noncredit classes, which are free, 0 unit classes. This differs from Community Services, which offers not-for-credit classes, which are supported entirely by user fees.

Three Easy Steps to Register for Noncredit Classes:

• 1 Apply Online

  New Student

  • Complete the Application
  • Create an account or log into an existing account and complete the application through the link above. Be sure to select our Adult Education-Non credit only program when completing the application.

    

  See our Class Schedule.

  • You are not registered for any classes at this point. You must continue to step # 2.
  • Creating an account and completing the application only admits you to Merced College.

  Returning Student

  • If you are returning from last semester you don't need to submit a new application.
    Proceed to step 3 (Enroll).
• 2 Receive your Student Information
  • Within 24 hours you will receive an email confirming we received your application
    (check spam or junk email folder).
  • A second email will follow with your student ID#, your student email, and username.
• 3 Enroll

  Three easy ways to enroll:

  1. Via Webadvisor for Students in the student portal. Your initial password is your date of birth in the MMDDYY format. See the how-to video provided below.
  2. Via Ellucian Go App. Your initial password is your date of birth in the MMDDYY format. See the how-to video provided below.
  3. Via email. Please email noncredit@mccd.edu with the semester you want to enroll in, your full name, student ID#, and section# of the course you wish to enroll.

 

Can't find your log in credentials?

Username: Visit the WebAdvisor page with your student ID# and last name.
Password: Your initial password is your date of birth in MMDDYY format.
