How to Enroll in a Payment Plan
Our secure payment system will need to be accessed through Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. Please keep in mind that the site is not compatible with Apple products.
Merced College offers student payment plans electronically. To take advantage, please take the time to set up your payment plan online. Follow our how to set up an online payment plan guide found on our Forms page.
Fees
A California State enrollment fee is charged per unit for all students. This enrollment fee is subject to change by the State Legislature. Enrollment fees are due at the time of registration.
Ed Code Section 76355 allows exemption from the Health Fee solely to those students meeting the following criteria:
- Depend exclusively upon prayer for healing in accordance with the teachings of a bona fide religious sect, denomination, or organization
- Are attending a community college under an approved apprenticeship training program
Fee includes campus accident and injury insurance coverage; community resource information, basic health and wellness services and information; short term personal counseling services.
Student Health Fee Waiver forms available at the Student Fees Office. This form must be submitted to the Student Fees Office by the end of the first week of the term in order to decline this fee.
Ed Code Section 76060.5 allows the Students to request a waiver of the student rep fee. Fee is used to support student advocacy at the local, state and national levels.

This form must be submitted to the Student Fees Office by the end of the first week of the term in order to decline this fee.
Per California Community College Student Fee Handbook section 4.3 states that this fee is optional to students.
Fee is used for the following: events, club activities, student conferences, student lounge, student professional organization memberships, student emergency book loans and bus passes, college campus tours, scholarships .

This form must be submitted by the end of the first week of the semester.
Merced College students, enrolled in credit classes, with a valid Student ID and current semester sticker ride The Bus for FREE. Simply show your current Merced College ID card when boarding The Bus.

Opt. out deadline available. Please view the Fee Deadlines page to find the date for the current semester.
- Fees must be paid by the census date for each term.
- If the student is unable to pay in full a payment plan MUST be initiated with the Student Fees office so that the balance is paid in full before the end of the term.
- Students who fail to pay their fees or maintain their payment plan, will be dropped from upcoming classes.
