The Merced College Agriculture Business curriculum develops students’ abilities to make decisions in the management of a farm or a ranch enterprise.

The Agriculture Education curriculum emphasizes the latest trends, technologies, and practices in teaching agriculture. Courses are designed to prepare students for leadership and instructional roles while providing the technical expertise necessary for a variety of educational settings.

The AgTEC (Agricultural Technology and Education Collaborative) curriculum focuses on modern agricultural technologies and systems, emphasizing precision agriculture, sustainability, and innovation. Courses provide students with a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, ensuring they are well-prepared for the demands of the agricultural industry.

The Animal Science curriculum provides the student with a broad overview of the latest trends and innovations in the care and production of livestock.

Environmental Horticulture students receive well-rounded training in the field with exposure to Tree and Plant Identification, Landscape Design, Construction and Maintenance, and Nursery and Garden Center Practice.

Students enrolled in the Merced College Horse Management Program study theory and apply practical experiences in a variety of classes that are related to the horse.
