We strongly encourage you to attend an in-person CNA workshop. The purpose of the workshop is to go over the program’s requirements, including how to apply, and answer any questions. You do not need to complete anything to attend a workshop. We recommend bringing a pen and paper to take notes. |

Before submitting an application, make sure to review the “Application Instructions” (found under Step 3 of the “Steps to Apply” listed towards the bottom of this page). We also recommend attending a CNA Workshop for further guidance. Additional application dates may be posted if spots in the class are still available. Refer to the Schedule of Classes for specific ALLH-63 class dates and times. Note: The availability you see online may not reflect the actual availability in the course. Dates and times are subject to change. |
Application Process
Follow the 5 easy steps to apply at Merced College in order to obtain a student ID and email.
Apply to Merced College the same semester that you apply to the program in order to maintain an active school email address.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old and a junior in high school to apply.
Note: High School students will need to submit a k-12 form to register for the course IF your application is accepted. Please talk with your high school counselor for more information.
Make sure you review the entire Application Instructions. The instructions will provide the information needed to successfully complete the requirements & paperwork.
Submit your complete application during the application window listed above. Applications will be accepted on a first‐come, first‐served basis. ALL of the items listed on the Check-Off sheet must be IN HAND and COMPLETE at the time you apply. Failure to do so will result in your application not being accepted.
