Rising Scholars Program

Merced College offers classes at Valley State Prison (VSP) and Central California Women’s Facility (CCWF) through the Rising Scholars Program.  The library provides research instruction and assistance to incarcerated students who are working towards a degree from Merced College.

Rising Scholars Library Guide

The Rising Scholars Library guide provides resources for building curriculum, information about the correspondence modality, research for faculty and students, and policies and forms for students, etc.

Request Research Assistance

The Research Request Form can also be located through the library guide.  Faculty, when printing for correspondence student distribution, please print in black/white and use white paper, as this helps reduce printing costs.
