Who Can Help Me with Research?
Librarians are faculty members who are available to help students, staff, and other faculty members with their research needs. Librarians can teach you how to understand your research assignment, refine your topic, develop search strategies, find sources using databases and the internet, and evaluate the results.
Classes / Workshops
- One section of LRNR 30 Information Concepts & Research Skills (3 units) is offered every semester
- The library faculty offer stand-alone workshops
- The library faculty often work with other faculty members to teach research lessons or design activities / tutorials for courses
